The eye is the hardest organ to teach flat. Cross-sections on a page never quite convey how the lens sits behind the iris or how the vitreous chamber fills the volume behind it. This enlarged model separates into its major parts so students can take it apart, name each piece and put it back together — the assembly itself is the assessment.
Mounted on a stand so it doubles as a display piece on a shelf or in a waiting room between lessons. Suits optometry practices and health-science classrooms as well as general biology.

  • Enlarged well beyond life size for group demonstration
  • Separates into major anatomical parts and reassembles
  • Shows cornea, iris, lens, vitreous chamber, retina and optic nerve
  • Supplied on a display base
  • Hand-painted detail on durable moulded plastic
